With the toy market expected to grow 12%, ABRIN 2017 kicks off the Brazilian schedule of the sector
As a mirror of the current outlook of the Brazilian industry, which keeps growing for almost a decade, the next edition of the Brazilian International Toy and Baby Products Fair (ABRIN) has confirmed the participation of important Brazilian companies and features an area focused particularly on baby products companies. Besides, the fair brings more novelties, such as March the date the fair is going to take place and the area for importers.

ABRIN GENERATES ABOUT R$1.3 BILLION OF BUSINESS
According to ABRINQ - Associação Brasileira dos Fabricantes de Brinquedos (Brazilian Association of Toy Manufacturers), the above volume represents 25% of annual revenues expected for the sector. ABRIN 2014 showed 1400 releases that will supply the stores in the coming months.

EVER ACTIVE, THE BRAZILIAN TOY INDUSTRY IS ONE OF THE FEW TO SURVIVE THE CHINESE INVASION WORLDWIDE
Abrinq (Brazilian Toy Industry Association) has plenty of reasons to celebrate both the 2012 results and the expectations for 2013, after a hard work throughout that period: a 14% growth, against a close-to-zero GDP, and a nearly R$ 4 billion revenue in retail sales, thus representing something around R$ 7.5 billion in the consumer end. The Chairman of Abrinq, Mr. Synésio Batista da Costa, believes that the market can grow even further, after having captured some of the Chinese space and by ceaselessly working with the Government.

BRAZILIAN TOY FAIR HAS A TURNOVER OF 1.5 BILLION BRL
The ABRIN - Brazilian Toy Fair (“ABRIN”), held from April 9 to 12 in São Paulo accounted for a business volume equivalent to 30% of the revenue expected for the entire year by the Brazilian Association of Toy Manufacturers – (“ABRINQ”).
